Want more information on how to start a business, but not sure how to get started? Want to improve your existing business? Let us help you! The FREE Build-a-Business workshop will help participants gather the knowledge they need to execute their own business ideas. Registration is now closed for the 2013 workshop.
Build-A-Business is a FREE, two day event designed by CMU Enactus and sponsored by Wal-Mart to help entrepreneurs around the Howard County community. The Build-A-Business workshop is designed so that entrepreneurs can come with a business idea and leave with the confidence and skills they need to implement their idea. Participants will work with Enactus students and professionals to create a professional business plan, and explore the aspects they’ll need to overcome to start their business.

The workshop will be held on the fourth floor of the Student and Community Center. Parking is available. See the campus map for directions.
Pre-registration is required for the event and is limited to the first 20 to register. Registration closes March 18.
There is no cost for attending the event. All participants will receive a certificate upon workshop completion, and will get a FREE 6-month trial to Live Plan, an online service which allows users to organize and modify a business plan.
The participant who gives the best business pitch to our judges’ will be awarded $250 at the end of the event.
