Athletic Training
Athletic Training is a specialized field of sports medicine
and is practiced by health care professionals who work
with physicians. Athletic training encompasses the
prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of emergency, acute, and
chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional
limitations, and disabilities. Athletic training provides a major link between the
sports program and the medical community.
