Business
Majoring
in business is a practical choice for almost anyone. The success
of every organization, regardless of the industry, is dependent
on sound business principles. Those individuals who have a solid
background in business are equipped with the practical skills
necessary to compete for a variety of positions in whichever
industry they choose.
The business major at CMU consists of 21-hours of common classes and seven areas of concentration from which to choose including: marketing and advertising, management, international business, finance and banking, general business, entrepreneurship, and business education. These concentration areas allow students to further pursue their specific interests in business.
Students wishing to major in business can earn either a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree.
