Test Composition
Physical Sciences: 52 questions, 70 minutes. 50% physics and
50% General Chemistry.
Verbal Reasoning: 40 questions, 60
minutes.
Writing Sample: 2 essays, 30 minutes each. Test
critical thinking, intellectual organization, and written
communication.
Biological Sciences: 52 questions, 70 minutes.
75% biology, 25% Organic Chemistry.
Scoring
Score range for the Physical Sciences, Verbal Reasoning, and Biological Sciences is 1-15, combined score from 3-45. A score of 30 is competitive to matriculate. Writing Sample scores range from J-T.
