Band Day Manager
The Band Day Manager works with the Keith House Band Tour Manager and is responsible for assisting the Director of Bands with various logistical aspects of the Bands, including: maintaining the band libraries, uniforms, instruments, marching band necessities, etc. This position is equivalent to a graduate assistantship and is a good opportunity for students to gain specialized experience in the administration of bands.
Choral Fellowship and Manager
The Choral Fellowship and Manager of the CMU Chorale is a position comparable to a graduate assistantship. The Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Choral Activities with any of the multitude of logistical needs of the CMU choirs. The Manager is also very active in planning and executing the annual Fall Tour. This position is a great opportunity for a student to gain specialized experience in the administration of choral ensembles but it should also be viewed as a service opportunity to the choirs, the Conservatory, and Central Methodist University.
Keith House Band Tour Manager
Named after
Professor Emeritus Keith House, the Keith House Band Tour
Manager works with the Band Day Manager and is responsible for
assisting the Director of Bands with various logistical aspects
of the Bands, including: maintaining the band libraries,
uniforms, instruments, marching band necessities, etc. The
Manager also assists the Director of Bands with the planning and
execution of the annual Spring Tour. This position is equivalent
to a graduate assistantship and a good opportunity for students
to gain specialized experience in the administration of bands.
Opera Fellow
The Opera Fellow assists
the director by managing the music, staging rehearsals, making
and gathering props, facilitating publicity, preparing sets and
costumes, taking notes for director at all rehearsals, and other
logistical tasks as necessary. This position is equivalent to a
graduate assistantship and a good opportunity for students to
gain specialized experience in the administration of operas.
