Career Expo

The Career EXPO is held by the James C. Denneny Carer Development Center. There will be many employers here to answer your questions, you will also be able to learn about internships and career opportunities that are in your career field. You will need to bring copies of your resume to give to employers, if you need help with your resume please refer to this flyer. We do ask that all attendees wear professional attire to this event, the Career Development Center will be happy to assist you if you have any questions or if you need professional dress clothes. Enjoy an evening that will allow you to network with a variety of employers and learn the nuances of dining etiquette, brought to you by the James C. Denneny Career Development Center. Business attire is required and you must preregister for this event on EagleJobNet. Education Interview Day at The University of Kansas

These interviews are for students and alumni who are pursuing careers in PK-12 education. This event is being held at the Kansas Union at the Lawrence campus location of The University of Kansas. The doors will open at 8:30am for walk-ins to schedule interview times, but the interviews will begin at 9:00am. There will be a break for lunch before the interviews end at 3:00pm. There will be 65 school districts from Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Colorado, Texas, Washington, and Illinois. To view the complete list of employers participating, please refer to this website. There is a $40 fee for non-KU students, and preregistration for non-KU students begins on February 8, 2016 at 12:01am and will end on February 21,2016. The Missouri Job Opportunities in Education Job Fair

The University of Missouri will be having their Missouri Job Opportunities in Education Job Fair, which includes over 120 educational employers and graduate programs across the country that will discuss job opportunities and conduct interviews. The job fair is free and open to the public, professional dress will be required. You will also need to bring enough of your resumes for the amount of employers you expect to meet with plus 10 extras. If you would like some additional information along with the list of employers attending, please refer to their website.

Senior Fair

All Graduating Seniors are REQUIRED to attend the senior fair in order to pick up your cap and gown! There will light refreshments, and door prizes that you can register for available. During this event you will have the opportunity to meet with Advancement & Alumni, Business Office, Career Development, Financial Assistance, Smiley Library, and the University Bookstore. Additional Information will be available soon.

Graduation Celebration Lunch

All seniors are invited to attend the Graduation Celebration Lunch that will be served by your favorite professors. There will be prizes available, and you must be present to win. The Graduation luncheon will be followed by the Commencement Rehearsal. Additional Information will be available soon.
