GA - Athletics/Game Day Operations/Facilities

GENERAL SUMMARY

This position will aid the Director of game day operations and facilities in oversight of game day management, event planning, scheduling, work study students, and facilities for CMU athletic department.    This is a Part –Time position, not to exceed 29 hours per week.    Fall 2021

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

60% - Assisting with Varsity Game Day Management including scheduling facilities

10% -Oversee all aspects of concessions and gates for all home games

10% - Assist in facilities management

20% - Organize/supervise and train work study students

 

MANAGERIAL/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position will partially oversee Work Study Students.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

This person must apply and be accepted into Central Methodist’s Masters’ Degree Program

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Must be able to be active for up to 8 hours in a day.

 

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must be able to use Microsoft Office

Must be customer friendly

A thorough and patient communicator would be preferred

Must be available to work nights and weekends

Must be able to perform in a high stress/fast paced environment

Must have or be able to attain a class E Drivers’ License**
