CORONAVIRUS – HOUSING INFORMATION
In an effort to protect the health and safety of our community from the potential spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), CMU will close all residential halls and require students to vacate campus with all of their belongs. Students should depart the residence halls no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, March 20th. Please stay in communication with your residential hall director to complete the check-out process. Information will be located within your hall along with on call numbers.
We understand that there will be exceptions and extenuating circumstances. In these cases, rest assured that we will work with students who are not able to return home during this time period on an individual basis. Students who would like to request an approval to extend their residence hall stay must fill out the online form.
Bergsten Dining hall will serve normal meals until Friday, March 20. After the 20th, students who are approved to stay in residence halls should be prepared for a reduced campus experience with limited opportunities for interaction and reduced campus services. For example, meals will move to the Eyrie Café and will be limited to brunch and dinner.
