Assistant Professor of Computer Science Fall-2022
Assistant Professor of Computer Science is a full time faculty position beginning Fall of 2022. Candidate will teach a range of upper and lower-level courses in computer science as well as advise students and serve on university committees. Candidate will also develop courses and syllabi in alignment with the mission of the University.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach undergraduate computer science courses for major and non-majors and be able to teach both introductory and advanced courses in CS, including networking, databases, and information systems as well as various programming languages including python. The ability to teach introductory math or statistics courses is desirable. This position will teach courses on the main campus and on-line as required. Expected teaching load is twelve hours each semester with additional responsibilities to include holding office hours, serving on committees, advising students and continuing professional development.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters degree in Computer Science (or related field) or higher.
ABD near completion will be considered.
Must be able to speak in a clear and loud voice.
