The crowning achievement to an academic career is, for most students, Commencement. CMU encourages all students eligible for graduation to take part in a Commencement ceremony.

May 8th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m and 2:00 p.m.
Davis Football Field
Two commencements will be held: 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Students will need to register ahead of time for commencement. Baccalaureate will not be held.
- Only Fall 2020, Spring 2021 and Summer 2021 graduates are eligible
- Limit of 130 graduates per commencement ceremony
- Each graduate may bring 4 guests
- Registration is required for graduates and their guests
Both commencements will be livestreamed. Links to the livestream will be shared ahead of time via the university website and social media accounts.

Due to Covid-19, all persons entering the event will be required to wear masks. Guests will be asked to also sit in pods or family units and leave seats between families.

Graduating Senior Information
Students wishing to graduate must complete the Graduation Application found on myCMU. All graduates are required to pay a $75 graduation fee to the Business Office before graduation; this fee is required regardless of participation in a commencement ceremony.
Academic Regalia: All students planning to graduate should order their cap and gown online.
