Job Title: Graduate Assistant-Admissions Representative |
GENERAL SUMMARY: The GA will assist the Office Manager/Campus Events Coordinator with daily office tasks, help with the recruitment of prospective students, all while providing excellent customer service to all of our internal and external constituents.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 50% Office operations
- 20% Assist with special events and campus tours
- 10% Assist in connecting with prospective students
- 10% Data entry
- 10% Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Acceptance into a Graduate program at Central Methodist University
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to occasionally life up to 50 lbs.
- Dexterity to operate general office equipment with reasonable accommodations
- Ability to speak in a clear and loud voice.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
- Above average written and oral communication skills
OTHER INFORMATION AND ATTRIBUTES: This position will require some weekend, evening, and travel commitments.
