Master of Education
Developing some of the finest teachers around is something Central Methodist University has been doing since its founding more than 160 years ago. When we changed from a College to a University, it made sense that the first graduate program we developed was in Education. But don’t take our word for it, find out why – apply now.
Master of Music Education
If you are a professional music educator, you already know that when it comes to music, CMU takes a back seat to no one. Our Swinney Conservatory produces extraordinary educators and performers. Our Master of Music Education program takes it to the next level. All coursework takes place in the summer, when it is most convenient, and is a mix of on-campus and online content. Be MORE with an MME from CMU.
Master of Science in Clinical Counseling
Clinical counselors deal with the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental disorders. They help patients interpret and deal with problems and situations. The MSCC at CMU is designed to prepare graduates with knowledge and skills necessary to apply for licensure in Missouri as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and is offered at several locations around Missouri.
Master of Science in Mathematics
Our MS in Math degree can be summed up in three simple words: quality, affordable, and online. If that equation adds up for you, apply today. A 32 credit hour, non-thesis program is designed to enable a student to secure or advance a position in government or industry, pursue a doctorate degree or further a teaching career.
Master of Science in Nursing
The nursing profession is red hot, and so is the need for people with advanced degrees in the profession. CMU offers the Master of Science degree in nursing. Even better, there are two options available: Nurse Educator, and Clinical Nurse Leader. And perhaps best of all, the MSN is available online. We proudly emphasize honesty, integrity, civility and a strong sense of personal responsibility.
