Family Weekend Information
Central Methodist University's Family Day delivers an opportunity for families of Central students to visit, have some fun, and immerse themselves in the CMU experience. There will be a variety of events on campus, including a chance to view the current show at our Ashby-Hodge Gallery of American Art, as well as athletic events, tailgating, and our Sigma Alpha Iota and Phi Mu Alpha Song Fest. There's something for everyone! Saturday will be full of activities, starting with a chance to view the CMU History Museum, located on the second floor of T. Berry and opening at 9 a.m. At 10 a.m. the Ashby-Hodge Gallery of Art, located at Classic Hall, will be open. Brunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bergsten Dining Hall, and starting at 11 a.m., the tailgate area will be open, where visitors can also grab a free T-shirt (first come, first served). The CMU reserve baseball game against William Woods University begins at 12 p.m. Kick-off for the football game against Peru State Universty is shortly after at 1 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.cmueagles.com
Dinner will be located at the Bergsten Dining Hall after the game from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., and our Sigma Alpha Iota and Phi Mu Alpha Song Fest will wrap up the day starting at 6 p.m. at the clocktower.
