Hazing and Risk Management

  1. Each semester the Greek Life Advisor holds multiple Greek Info Sessions for students interested in joining an organization to attend.  These sessions include information regarding hazing, risk management, and how to report.  All active Greek members and those who join are required to complete a Risk Management Contract each semester.  Please a link to view the Risk Management Contract
  2. Accountability is an important component of the Greek Life experience. Through transparency and commitment to our values and policies, our members experience quality living and learning environments. Hazing Has No Place at CMU. Central Methodist University is dedicated to upholding an environment of respect and support. Hazing violates university policy, state law, and individual fraternity and sorority policies. If you have experienced hazing, witnessed hazing, or suspect someone you know has been hazed, report it. Your decision will make campus a safer place for everyone.

Conduct History

  1. In the interest of transparency, Greek Life tracks the learning experiences of local chapters and — when relevant — the measures taken to ensure that the community remains focused on the values of scholarship, leadership, service and brotherhood/sisterhood
  2. Below you can find a list of organizations that have been found responsible for violations of the Student Code of Conduct resulting in a minimum conduct outcome of disciplinary probation in the past four years.
